Blind Touch

After learning about visual synesthesia in blind people, I was inspired to explore texturally interesting structures that encourage navigation by touch. Each structure starts off as a slip-cast teardrop form and is cut, manipulated and embellished with Ishihara test inspired dot textures that represent braille surfaces.
