Miura (ongoing)

A personal exploration in extracting crease patterns from water marbling techniques and expressing them through a Miura ori inspired structure — combining the genius of astrophysicist Kōryō Miura and paper marbling artist Einen Miura. Next phase of the project will be to transform crease pattern designs into kinetic sculptures. Below are some ongoing experiments.
